Terms of Service

FirstBookit is a platform that lets players discover and book sports turfs and venues, and lets venue owners list and manage their venues, courts, pricing, and bookings. We facilitate the booking and payment process between players and venue owners — we do not own or operate the listed venues unless explicitly stated.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent/guardian's consent, to make bookings or payments.

When you book a slot, you agree to pay the listed price shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. For multi-person bookings, the split-payment feature lets the organizer share a payment link with participants — each participant is responsible for paying their own share.

Cancellation and refund policies are set by each venue owner and shown on the booking confirmation. FirstBookit processes refunds according to the applicable venue's policy and the original payment method's settlement timelines. If you list a venue on FirstBookit, you agree to provide accurate venue, court, and pricing information, honour confirmed bookings, and comply with applicable local laws for operating your venue. FirstBookit deducts a platform commission from booking revenue as disclosed in your owner dashboard before payout.

If you use FirstBookit to create and host events — sports tournaments, cultural events, or community matches — you agree to provide accurate event details including name, sport, venue, date, capacity, and ticket pricing.

Organizer responsibilities: You are solely responsible for hosting the event as described, honouring purchased tickets, managing participant check-in, and complying with applicable local laws and venue regulations. FirstBookit provides the platform and ticketing infrastructure but does not co-host or operate your event.

Payouts & commission: FirstBookit deducts a platform commission from ticket revenue as disclosed in your organizer dashboard before payout. Payouts are processed after the event date unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations & refunds: If you cancel an event, you are responsible for refunding ticket purchasers. FirstBookit will process refunds to participants via the original payment method. Repeated event cancellations may result in account suspension.

You agree not to misuse the Service — including submitting false booking or payment information, harassing other users or venue staff, attempting to bypass payment, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

User-generated content. Parts of the Service let you post content that other users can see — tournament gallery photos and videos, team names and logos, and profile photos. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content: content that is abusive, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or that infringes someone else's rights is prohibited. By posting content you confirm you have the right to share it.

Reporting and blocking. Every user can report objectionable content from within the app (open the content and tap Report) and can block another user, which immediately hides that user's content from them (manage blocks in Settings → Blocked Users). We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that violates these terms, and may suspend or permanently terminate the accounts of users who post it. FirstBookit facilitates bookings between players and independently operated venues. We are not responsible for the condition of any venue, injuries sustained while playing, or disputes between players and venue owners, beyond reasonably assisting with resolution. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability.

You may delete your account at any time from your Profile → Delete Account in the app, or by emailing support@firstbookit.in. See our Privacy Policy for details on what happens to your data on deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Gujarat having jurisdiction over any disputes, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
